In 2007 I became a landlord of Property STOP’s when I bought my first rental. In 2013 I then bought a third of the company and have never looked back! When I meet new landlords I explain that I sat on their
side of the fence before jumping over to mine. It is for this reason we tailor make all our landlord packages to accommodate whatever part of the process our clients do or don’t want to get involved
with. Our offering therefore includes any advice we can offer from our own experiences. We like to call it "a unique approach to lettings.
I was first employed as a letting agent as a school leaver 1998. In 2007, I joined a now unrecognisable Property STOP Ltd and become a shareholding director in 2010. During my time at Property STOP Ltd we have continually developed our services and client relations but remained focused on our very specific role within the residential letting industry.
As a local, independent company we reap the rewards from our uncompromised flexibility towards our client’s needs. Coupled with our, forward thinking, keen to please, approach, we have been able to thrive in today’s growing market place. Our company ethos is to keep our services simple and clients happy.
I initially started my agency career with Property STOP working as a Trainee Property Negotiator and was appointed as a Company Director in 2007. As an owner of the business I’m proud to have worked hard over the years to grow and develop Property STOP into the established firm we are today. I personally believe we are the best independent letting agency in Chelmsford. What sets us apart from our competitors is that we work closely with our clients to build strong and long lasting relationships ensuring we deliver a service over and above our customers’ expectations.
Since starting at Property STOP in October 2018, I have developed a keen interest in Property Management. I handle the maintenance department at
Property STOP and work closely with our experienced contractors to make sure that both tenants and landlords are happy. I am enjoying it and have felt very welcomed by my team members and am looking forward to the future.
I joined Property STOP in March 2015 completely new to Lettings. Mark, Paul & Stuart introduced me to the business and guided me throughout the learning process. I now feel as though I have a much clearer
and thorough understanding of how to help meet client’s needs and expectations. I have always found it incredibly rewarding to be able to progress and offer guidance to our landlords and tenants, to ensure
the smoothest transaction possible from start to finish. I am looking forward to the future and to continue educating myself in all aspects of Residential Lettings and property management.
I joined Property STOP in January 2019 as the apprentice. I was completely new to the concept of lettings and believe that the team here were very welcoming and patient with teaching me the ropes. I have enjoyed learning the process so far and there is still a lot for me to learn. I am confident that the guys here will teach me what I need to know along the way, widening my variety of skills within the company.
I joined Property Stop in July 19 and already feel part of a great team. Although born in the UK I have spent most of my life living in Australia. I moved back to the UK for the vibrant nightlife, the history and the opportunity to travel in Europe; I haven’t been disappointed! I worked as a property agent in Australia but it has taken a while to get used to the different ways of working. The team here at Property Stop have made the transition much easier. I’ve learnt so much in my time here and hope to learn a lot more in the years to come.
I joined Property Stop as an apprentice in September 2019. When I had left school in June, I soon realised I wanted to go down the property route for a potential career. Despite entering the company with no experience in the field, my colleagues and directors have helped me to grow my skills and knowledge considerably. They have made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I am excited to see how my skills and knowledge will evolve and where my time here will take me in the future.
