Property STOP is an independent Letting Agency jointly owned and run by the two company Directors, Stuart McLuckie and Paul Grimwood. The company was first established in 1996 and has enjoyed many successful years trading from its prominent Duke Street Office in the heart of Chelmsford’s town centre. Over this time we have developed and increased our knowledge of the local area and property market, insuring we are able to give you correct and honest advice on the letting potential and market value of your property.

Our main aim was to set ourselves apart from other agents by providing our clients with the highest standard of tenants, at a realistic and competitive price. We have continued to grow over the years through word of mouth and recommendations from our numerous satisfied customers.

Meet The Team:

Stuart was born in Chelmsford and still lives locally with his girlfriend Laura. Stuart’s always had an interest in property and started his career working in property sales. Outside of work Stuart is a keen DIY enthusiast and also enjoys music and films. He has a keen eye for attention to detail and conducts our professional inventories and final inspections, as well as overseeing the day to day running of the office.

Paul lives in Chelmsford with his wife Sarah and their two young daughters. Paul has enjoyed a successful career in Lettings since leaving school in 1996 and has worked for several agents before joining Property STOP. Paul has a passion for Renaults and a love of gardening and home improvements. At work Paul deals with our accounting, market appraisals as well as overseeing the day to day running of the office with Stuart.

William joined Property STOP earlier this year and has settled into the team well. William handles all of our property maintenance and has built up a relationship with our preferred contractors ensuring all aspects of required maintenance work are handled correctly and efficiently. William and his wife Carly live in Chelmsford and are animal lovers sharing their home with their pet dog, frogs and gerbil. When not at work William can often be found working out in Virgin Active aspiring to look like his on screen hero Arnold Schwarzenegger!
